
So that was a good start by Nola, right?
You can quibble with a few of the pitches made by Aaron Nola last night. You can even talk about whether or not he should have even pitched the seventh inning at all (he shouldn’t have), but last night’s start by Nola was a step in the right direction. The velocity was still down a bit, but once that ball that Juan Soto hit that miraculously went foul landed, Nola seemed to lock himself in and have a decent night.
