A thing of beauty
How good was Cristopher Sánchez yesterday? His changeup had the Giants utterly baffled, as he threw it 50 times on 97 pitches and collected 22 whiffs. He used the shadows to his advantage and had the Giants hitters swinging over his changeup again and again. Sure, he gave up his fourth home run of the season, but Sánchez is such a joy to watch when he has the changeup working like he did yesterday. He has picked up right where he left off in 2024 and is off to a very encouraging start to 2025.
