Time for some home cookin’
It’s time for the Phillies to have their own home opener. Opening on the road is fine (and it’s pretty good they won the series), but as we all know, the season really begins once we’re able to see our fellows in their home whites.
It’s not just me. It’s the law.
On to the links.
Phillies news:
- J.T. Realmuto and Trea Turner sat yesterday, but they should be find for today’s home opener.
- Still wonder why Justin Crawford started in Lehigh Valley? Let’s have some honest speculation about the move.
MLB news:
- MLB hath spoken: the weird looking “torpedo” bats are legal. They’re going to catch on really quickly.
- I think Rafael Devers might be having some trouble adjusting to his new role as a designated hitter.
- Shohei Ohtani is still “a ways away” from pitching in the big leagues even after a flat ground session.
- The Orioles might be interested in moving Ryan Mountcastle. That and other notes from around the league.
