Battles still rage on, even in the dying of the light
The battle for that final bench spot, one we looked at in depth last week, looks to be starting to generate some interest. Buddy Kennedy had another good game yesterday, furthering his case to be the choice for the team. It’s still possible that the team looks outside the organization as spring training winds down. It’s something they did with Cristian Pache when he became available, so even if some of these players continue having good springs, they will need to keep looking over their shoulder at what other players around spring training become available. The Phillies might pounce.
