Taijuan Walker actually looked halfway decent against the Yankees, furthering the idea that he’ll be with the Phillies this season. What’s interesting is that he’s actually shown an uptick in velocity as compared to last year, meaning whatever program the team had him on worked.
That might not be all that interesting to some, but there are times when programs like that do not work at all. Having it work for Walker is a testament to the team’s pitching development group.
