
Let’s all Breakout from our funk
The Spring Breakout game is today where the Phillies will take on the top prospects in the Pirates organization. It’s a good idea by MLB to put these players on the field to give fans a look at what the future holds for the fans. The Red Sox were sure treated to a tantalizing glimpse last night when their top three prospects all homered in their game. We’ll have it covered here.

Phillies news:
- It’s roster projection time. With Matt Strahm likely to start the year on the injured list, who might take his spot? ($)
- Today is Spring Breakout day for the Phillies, which means a lot of their prospects will be on display.

MLB news:
- The Rays aren’t going to build their new stadium by 2028 after all, backing out of the agreement. Weasels.
- Speaking of the Rays, they are definitely not for sale. Which of course means they are for sale and the offers haven’t been good enough.
- Paul Skenes is baseball’s biggest thing going outside of Ohtani. It’s both good and bad to the Pirates’ ace ($).
- Lance Lynn might be waiting as a late present for the Cubs when they return from Japan.
