Phillies news:
- The team needed some pitching depth, so they grabbed two names on minor league deals.
MLB news:
- Teoscar Hernandez is staying put in Los Angeles, signing a three year deal for $66 million that includes – you guessed it – deferred money!
- The Diamondbacks are doubling up on their total of Corbins, signing the Burnes pitching version for the next six years.
- The Giants might have missed out on Burnes, but they could turn their attention to a first baseman still on the market ($).
