
He’s getting better
We asked you this week which of the two struggling players the team had was more likely to turn their season around. Your results:

Bohm does seem like the more obvious choice. You could look at a lot of the stuff under the hood in the first few games of the season and see that he was still hitting the ball hard, even if it was seemingly right at people. Having that kind of luck usually portends that something good is right around the corner and, at least in the past few games, we’ve seen that. Bohm has started seeing a few more hits dropping in, some of them continuing to be hit hard.
Marsh, on the other hand, looks like the opposite. A lot of his stuff is coming from simply swinging and missing quite a bit. He doesn’t look comfortable at the plate at all and, at times, just looks lost. There is plenty of time to come back from this of course. The alternatives the team has to replace Marsh are not all that appealing, so he’ll likely continue to get a lot of run at the plate. There will come a time, though, where the team will have to make a decision if he continues to struggle.
