The Braves have acquired infielder Nick Allen from the Athletics, according to announcements from both clubs. Minor league right-hander Jared Johnson heads the other way. Allen was on the 40-man roster, so Atlanta’s count jumps to 38 while the Athletics’ drops to 34.
