Philadelphia Eagles fans may have a bone to pick with Travis Kelce after the latest edition of the “New Heights” podcast.
During one portion of the program, Travis and Jason Kelce were discussing their teams’ respective fan bases when Jason noted that there’s never been any real bad blood between Chiefs and Eagles fans.
“Chiefs fans still love me,” Jason said.
“Either way, Chiefs fans are just pleasant. They’re pleasant fans,” Travis responded.
“What are you trying to say?” Jason asked.
“You know exactly what I’m trying to say,” Travis responded as Jason laughed. “We don’t get booed if we go three-and-out on the first drive.”
Shots. Fired.

Everybody knows the reputation Philly fans have, which is what Travis was alluding to here.
As far as we know, there isn’t any real animosity between him and the Eagles fan base, though he did make fun of the origin of the franchise’s nickname earlier this year.
“Not even a bald eagle? That just made that (expletive) so much weak… Not a bald eagle. It’s a blue eagle. Completely different bird. I thought it was named that because (Philly) was a founding city… You’re named after some recovery act (the National Recovery Act),” Kelce said.
While the Eagles did beat Kansas City during the 2023 regular season, Travis and the Chiefs hold the ultimate trump card over Philly thanks to their win against the Birds in Super Bowl LVII.
