The Dylan McMahon era appears to be over in Philadelphia. The former North Carolina State center and 2024 sixth-round pick is leaving the Eagles practice squad after signing to the Los Angeles Rams active roster.
McMahon’s agent Whitney Holtzman broke the news.
Philadelphia selected the NC State interior guard/center in the sixth round with their final pick of the weekend.
Very excited my client C Dylan McMahon is headed to the Rams to sign with their active roster from the Eagles practice squad! Go Dylan!!

The Rams are banged up after losing Puka Nacua, Steve Avila, and Joe Noteboom in Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Lions. All three players will be sidelined for multiple weeks.
Avila will likely be placed on injured reserve, forcing him to miss at least the next four games. Jordan Schultz reported Monday that Avila is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks, so the Rams will have Beaux Limmer play center, and Jonah Jackson will move back to left guard in his absence, creating the roster spot for McMahon.
Rams right guard Kevin Dotson suffered a “little lateral sprain to his ankle” in Sunday’s loss to the Lions, but McVay said he’ll be considered day-to-day.
Noteboom had to be carted off after spraining his ankle against the Lions. McVay said it’s a high ankle sprain, and he’ll miss a few weeks.
McMahon played in 49 games (44 starts) at NC State, seeing snaps at center, right guard, and left guard, and according to Pro Football Focus, McMahon allowed just one sack on 361 pass block snaps in 2023.
