Why Local Camden Talent Miles Frazier Could Be A Perfect For the Eagles.
In 2023 — when the Eagles lost Super Bowl LVII to Kansas City — the Chiefs offensive lineman wore shirts that read 0 Sacks. They certainly didn’t being them out last Sunday for Super Bowl LIX — when the Eagles pounded Patrick Mahomes for six sacks in a pummeling performance.
For an Eagles draft room who basically gets anyone that they want on Draft Night — Camden native and LSU lineman Miles Frazier at 6 foot 5 and 325 pounds could be the perfect addition. With Guard Lane Johnson just completing his 12th NFL season and 2024 addition Mekhi Becton having resurrected his career after joining the Eagles from the Jets and now will no doubt be commanding top dollar in 2025 NFL free agency — offensive lineman are a must in the April 2025 NFL Draft.
Before transferring from Florida International after two seasons — Frazier has now started 39 games for LSU, played in 52 college games in total, and has started 50 overall. In three seasons at LSU, he has allowed only four sacks with none allowed in 2024. Frazier was also a top high school football talent from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden.
The Eagles have the heaviest offensive line in football — and kept Jalen Hurts from being sacked only twice in the Super Bowl during the decisive 40–22 victory. Frazier could join and Eagles line is arguably the best in the NFL. Two is a number that Jeff Stoutland’s Eagles offensive line group can now proudly display as a stat. It’s the amount of sacks that they allowed in Super Bowl LIX.
