The Philadelphia Eagles let go of four players on Monday.
With them needing to sign their draft class, they cut ties with defensive tackle Noah Elliss, wide receiver Griffin Hebert, defensive back Tiawan Mullen, and offensive lineman Lecitus Smith.
Smith recently played for the Arizona Cardinals in 2022 and appeared in 10 games with two starts.
The three other players have not appeared in any regular season games. Elliss played his college football at Idaho while Hebert played at Louisiana Tech for five seasons (2018-22).
In those seasons, he compiled 99 receptions for 1,532 yards and 14 touchdowns. His best individual season came in 2019 when he compiled 30 receptions for 537 yards and six touchdowns.
Mullen played at Indiana from 2019-22 and racked up 142 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, five interceptions, 28 passes defended, four forced fumbles, and two fumbles recovered.
The Eagles had another very good draft over the weekend and it started by nabbing Toledo’s Quinyon Mitchell in the first round. They then double-dipped at the position in the second round by drafting Iowa’s Cooper DeJean.
