Philadelphia will be hosting either the Minnesota Vikings or Los Angeles Rams next weekend.
We do know the Philadelphia Eagles are advancing to the Divisional Round of the 2025 NFL playoffs after beating the Green Bay Packers.
That game will take place next Sunday, January 19 with the start time set for 3:00 PM Eastern.
We don’t yet know which team the Eagles will be playing.
We’ll find that out on Monday night.
Had the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Washington Commanders, the Eagles would’ve hosted the Bucs in Philly. But the Commanders’ win means they’ll be playing the No. 1 seed Detroit Lions in Michigan next weekend.
That leaves the Eagles to play the winner of Monday night’s Wild Card game between the Los Angeles Rams and Minnesota Vikings. Due to fires in LA, that matchup has been relocated to the Arizona Cardinals’ stadium in Glendale, AZ. The Vikings are currently 2.5-point favorites.
The Eagles previously beat the Rams in LA by a final score of 37 to 20 back in Week 12. The Eagles have not played the Vikings this season.
The Rams appear to be the worse team. They won 10 games and rank 17th in both DVOA and point differential. The Vikings, meanwhile, won 14 games and rank seventh in DVOA and ninth in point differential.
Of course, the Rams have the more accomplished quarterback in Matthew Stafford. Sam Darnold’s had a good season but Monday night marks his first career playoff start.
Which team will you be rooting for the Eagles to host next weekend?
