It’s been almost three weeks since Jason Kelce lost his Super Bowl ring during a live filming of the “New Heights” podcast at the University of Cincinnati.
Kelce realized he lost the memento during the show on April 11, and some students participating in the event even had the chance to “look” for the ring in two pools of chili.
The Kelce brothers confirmed on X/Twitter tonight that the ring has still not been located.
“Before you ask, the answer is no we still haven’t found @JasonKelce‘s ring. New Lombaby Games videos drop exclusively on our social pages. Stay tuned for game 3 tomorrow @PartyCity,” said the official “New Heights” account.
In the days following the Kelce brothers’ appearance at their alma mater, there were rumors that Jason’s ring was “stolen” during the show.
Not true, the longtime Philadelphia Eagles center clarified to E News.
“This is incorrect, and not what I was saying,” Kelce said. “I do not think it was stolen. Based on the video evidence we do have I think it was accidentally thrown in the trash while cleaning up.”
It sounds like the odds of anyone finding the ring are pretty slim, but hopefully it turns up.
Sure, Kelce can probably get a new one made, but the original, which he won for the Eagles in Super Bowl LII, is special.
