The Eagles’ franchise QB doesn’t boast about his community efforts all too often, but sometimes we get a little insight into just how much of himself he gives — especially to the kids in Philly.
Just before Thanksgiving, Jalen Hurts was pictured at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and hosted BINGO for the kids. We’ve learned since that not only did he perform hosting duties, he also worked with a trio of talented patients to design a special pair of cleats for the quarterback to wear on game day. To make the cleats debut even more memorable, Hurts also invited his new friends to attend Sunday’s Eagles-Panthers game as his guests.

So now, when you see the QB rocking a very colorful and unique set of cleats on Sunday, you’ll know just how special they really are.

Hurts’ impact in the community is huge, and his commitment to the youth is commendable. In addition to his philanthropic efforts to get air conditioning in schools throughout Philadelphia, he also recently released a “Carry the Difference Duffle” bag with 100% of the proceeds going to starting and replenishing school supply closets throughout the city.
