It was the first game back for Saquon Barkley, and even with a chorus of boos, the talented running back set the tone early on for the Eagles. Overall, Vic Fangio’s defense held the Giants offense to 76 yards on 32 plays and 2-8 on third downs.
On offense, it was another ugly, scoreless first quarter.
Still, the Eagles’ defense was dominant, and the offense had several explosive plays as Philadelphia jumped out to a 14-3 lead over the Giants at MetLife Stadium.
