NFL schedule flex update.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 17 home game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field has a new start time.
Originally set to kick off at 4:25 PM Eastern, the two teams will now face each other starting at 1:00 PM. The action will be airing on FOX.
The Eagles-Cowboys game got switched with a higher stakes NFC North matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings.
Normally a huge ratings draw, it’s certainly not every year you see Eagles vs. Cowboys get flexed OUT like this. But Dallas was officially eliminated from playoff contention with Philly’s Week 16 loss to the Washington Commanders.
This game is much more meaningful to the Eagles, who will be aiming to clinch the NFC East crown and no worse than the No. 2 seed with a win.
Can the Eagles rebound against a Cowboys team that’s 4-1 in their last five games? Will Jalen Hurts be able to play?
We’ll see.
