Philadelphia is headed to the NFC Championship game and faces a familiar foe in the Washington Commanders.
Barkley became the first player in Eagles history to rush for more than 200 yards in a playoff game (205) while scoring touchdowns on rushes of 62 yards and 78 yards as Philadephia eliminated Los Angeles 28-22 on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field to advance to the NFC Championship Game.
The Eagles will host Washington next Sunday, January 26, at 3 PM for the right to go to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.
The home team won the first two matchups between the Eagles and the Commanders. Philadelphia won a Thursday night showdown on November 14. Washington won the rematch on December 22, ending the Eagles’ 10-game win streak.
This will be the second time in 183 meetings that these two teams will battle in the playoffs.
