Jason Kelce’s time with the Philadelphia Eagles came to an end this week. Brandon Graham, on the other hand, has just signed a new deal.
Graham, 35, has agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with the Eagles. That means he’ll play at least 15 seasons in the City of Brotherly Love.
The Eagles selected Graham in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He’s been an excellent player and leader over the past decade and a half, racking up 467 tackles, 146 QB hits, 73 sacks and 21 forced fumbles.
Last season, Graham only had 16 tackles and three sacks. His production declined dramatically after he had 35 tackles and 11 sacks in 2022.
Following the Eagles’ playoff loss to the Buccaneers, Graham made it clear that he’d retire after the 2024 season.
“It’ll be my farewell tour next year. If the Eagles want me to do it one more time, I would love to be here for another year. Because I know we got something special,” Graham said. “Fifteen, my farewell tour. I’ll be done next year.”
Graham already has a Super bowl ring with the Eagles, but he’d love nothing more than to add another to his collection.
