Darius Slay has been one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL over the past 12 years, and he’s a major reason for the Eagles’ sustained success since he arrived via trade from the Lions in March 2020.
Slay has been an All-Pro and made the Pro Bowl in the last three seasons, logging nine interceptions, two touchdown returns, and 43 pass breakups in 60 games played with Philadelphia. Still, he’s acknowledged that he won’t play much longer, and part of his process for a transition includes his own podcast.
Slay is going to go out on his own terms, and he marches to his own beat, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the veteran cornerback appeared on ‘The Edge With Micah Parsons,’ the Bleacher Report partnered program that the Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher host weekly.
Parsons recently had a social media spat with the Eagles C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and with Parsons playing for the Birds’ biggest rival, fans were not pleased on social media.
