Cowboys make Dak Prescott the highest paid player in NFL history with massive deal

In a move that will be scrutinized and keep the Cowboys core together for years to come, Dak Prescott has agreed to a deal that’ll make the quarterback the highest-paid player on average in NFL history.

According to Ian Rapoport, Prescott will sign a 4-year deal worth a record $240 million with $231 million guaranteed.

At $60 million per year in new money, Prescott will be the highest-paid quarterback in NFL history, surpassing the likes of Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence, and Jordan Love, each of whom recently inked extensions worth an average annual value of $55 million.

Prescott’s new deal keeps him in Dallas through the 2028 season, and we have the immediate reactions to the agreement.
