Philadelphia’s fiery safety got hit with two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
Eagles starting safety and notorious trash-talker C.J. Gardner-Johnson was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Commanders in the second half.
Things started off testy between the Eagles defense and Washington’s offense, with CJGJ drawing his first flag in the first half after getting hit in the face.

He was flagged for his second unsportsmanlike conduct penalty shortly after halftime and was then escorted off the field.

Before the flag, Eagles force their fourth turnover of the game. (Zack Baun forced it, Nolan Smith recovered.)

As Gardner-Johnson made his way to the locker room, he made sure to give Washington fans a middle-finger salute.

CJGJ always brings a certain energy and physicality to the field, but he does need to try and contain some of that emotion. It’s a tough balance, but the Eagles defense needs him out there and available, and he’s not a big help when he’s in the locker room.
It’s not great, but he was voted Most Annoying for a reason.
