Kevin Patullo will be the fourth offensive coordinator for quarterback Jalen Hurts since he took over as the Eagles starting quarterback in 2020.
Patullo, a veteran NFL assistant, has been working with the Eagles’ offense since the 2021 season. He’ll now be tasked with keeping the NFL’s most explosive offense churning, and he received a glowing endorsement from All-Pro wide receiver A.J. Brown.
“For our fans, they need to understand everything has to change,” Brown explained during an interview that will air on Thursday on NFL Network’s The Insiders. “I know we just won, but it has to change. We have to get better, and we have to do things different. But I truly feel like it’s a great hire; he already has been involved in almost everything. Him, Kellen (Moore) and Nick (Sirianni) basically called the plays already.
“So, it’s a great hire and he’s already familiar with us. We have a great relationship, and he knows what we need to work on because he’s been there, and he’s been there for a while, and like I said, he’s already been a part of all the situations and the conversations and everything. So, I think it’s a great hire.”

For Patullo, it’ll be about keeping the Super Bowl MVP happy while maintaining the dominant rushing attack featuring Saquon Barkley.
During his Super Bowl press conference two weeks ago, Sirianni raved about Patullo amid rumors that Moore was exiting.

Patullo’s role as the passing game coordinator has provided some head coach and offensive coordinator responsibilities.
“I get to do both, which is very fortunate,” he said. “I get to see a lot of stuff as a coach that most people don’t get to see if they’re not the head coach. So from that point of view, it’s very unique. (Head coach Nick Sirianni) trusts me, and obviously we’re very close and I get to be part of a lot of decisions. So that’s really valuable to me.”
Patullo has played a key role in the development of Jalen Hurts. The 44-year-old has been a quarterbacks coach and pass-game specialist at the NFL level for most of the last 20 years.
