According to Tankathon, the Eagles are projected to enter the draft with seven selections overall:
- Round 1, pick 32
- Round 2, pick 64
- Round 3, pick 96
- Round 4, pick 129 (via Detroit Lions)
- Round 5, pick 162 (via Houston Texans)
- Round 5, pick 166 (via Washington Commanders)
- Round 5, pick 169
- Round 6 — none
- Round 7 — none
During his Thursday NFL draft and Scouting Combine conference call, the NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah was asked about the Eagles potentially trading back out of Round 1 to amass more picks in Round 2 and beyond.
Jeremiah said, “I wouldn’t rule anything out with Howie,” when asked about the Eagles potentially trading out of the first round.
The last time Philadelphia traded back out of the first round at the 2018 NFL Draft at AT&T Stadium, Baltimore jumped back up 20 spots to select Lamar Jackson with pick No. 32.
The Eagles landed tight end Dallas Goedert after trading up three spots from the second-round pick they received from the Ravens. The following year, Philadelphia used the other second-round pick it received from Baltimore to draft running back Miles Sanders.
