The Wildcats are meeting with Parker on Wednesday afternoon. They originally recruited Parker out of high school and made his final four list at the time.
Villanova is slated to meet with former Alabama guard Kris Parker on Wednesday afternoon, per Tommy Godin.
Parker is a 6-foot-9, 195-pound guard that didn’t appear in any games and redshirted for the Crimson Tide this past season. He opted to transfer after his first year at Alabama and retained all four years of collegiate eligibility.

Parker hails from Tallahassee, Fla. and was a four-star prospect according to 247 Sports and On3.com coming out of the Crossroad Academy. According to 247 Sports’ transfer ratings, he is regarded as a three-star transfer.
Before going to college, the 6-foot-9 wing was a top 100 prospect in the Class of 2023. Villanova was originally under consideration and made Parker’s final four school list, which also included UCF, Missouri and Alabama.
He averaged 24.8 points and 14.2 rebounds per game in his final high school season.
When he first announced his final four school list back in February 2023, Parker gave On3.com his impression of Villanova: “It’s a great school with winning tradition. The atmosphere is and culture is unmatched.”
