After missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a decade, Villanova continued to bolster its roster Saturday with the addition of Kentucky transfer and New Jersey native Lance Ware.
The news was first reported by Joe Tipton.
The 6-foot-9 Camden native averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds last season at Kentucky but figures to play a bigger role with his new Wildcats.

Villanova adds Ware after missing out on bigs Hunter Dickinson (Kansas) and Zuby Ejiofor (St. John’s).
He joins T.J. Bamba (Washington State) and Hakim Hart (Maryland) among transfer additions for second-year coach Kyle Neptune.
They also return forward Eric Dixon and fifth-year guard Justin Moore.
Ware initially picked Kentucky over Miami, Michigan, Ohio State and Providence in 2019.
