Michigan transfer Hunter Dickinson, the No. 1 available transfer, begins what may be his final visit to Villanova on Friday morning.
The 7-foot-1 Dickinson played high school basketball at DeMatha Catholic (MD) and AAU with Team Takeover with fifth-year returning Villanova guard Justin Moore and the two remain very close.

After missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2012, the Wildcats have already beefed up their roster with the additions of transfers T.J. Bamba (Washington State) and Hakim Hart (Maryland), while also extending offers to several elite Class of 2024 prospects in Billy Richmond, Curtis Givens and Isiah Harwell.
The Wildcats are also among the final five for Class of 2023 four-star wing Brady Dunlap, who is also considering St. John’s, Nebraska, North Carolina and Penn State.
A native of Alexandria, VA, Dickinson is also considering Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland and Georgetown. He visited Kansas last weekend and completed his visit to Kentucky Tuesday. He recently told ZAGSBLOG of Kentucky, “they really want me.”
He also said on his Podcast that he has family in Paducah, Ky.
“That’s all I’ll say about that,” he said.
Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson, listed by nearly everyone as the No. 1 rated transfer in the portal, will be visiting Kentucky this weekend.

Dickinson was named an AP honorable mention All-America player in 2023. In 2021, he earned a spot on the AP second-team All-America squad after averaging 18.5 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game for the Wolverines.
After Michigan made runs in the NCAA Tournament during his first two seasons, this year the Wolverines missed March Madness and lost in the second round of the NIT to Vanderbilt.
