After failing to reach the NCAA Tournament this year, Michigan center Hunter Dickinson entered the NCAA transfer portal, where he ranks among the top prospects available to move. Today he’s making a big visit to one of the blue bloods.
According to basketball insider Adam Zagoria, Dickinson is slated to visit Villanova today. The meeting comes one day after a two-hour visit with Kentucky head coach John Calipari. Kansas is also reportedly on his schedule.
Dickinson earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2023. He led the Wolverines in points and rebounds while also improving on his three-pointers.
Dickinson finished his junior season with 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game over 34 games.

Villanova could certainly use a player of Hunter Dickinson’s talents. They struggled pretty heavily under first-year head coach Kyle Neptune, going 17-17 overall and 10-10 in the Big East.
The Wildcats wound up missing the NCAA Tournament and instead went to the NIT, where they were knocked out by Liberty in the First Round.
But the Wildcats have stiff competition if they want to bring the three-time All-Big Ten center into the fold. John Calipari and Bill Self have a lot to offer Dickinson.
