The Penn State Nittany Lions should take full advantage of the Big Ten while they still can this season because the 2024 campaign will not be easy.
Earlier this afternoon the Big Ten announced the full schedules for every conference team. The additions of Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington will surely spice things up.
That’s true for the Nittany Lions, who will face UCLA, USC and Washington in a five-game stretch next season. And no, the other two games in that five game stretch are not cupcakes.
Over a five game period, Penn State will face UCLA, USC, Wisconsin, Ohio State and Washington – making it one of the most difficult stretches in the conference.
Fans know it won’t be easy.
“October 5th to November 9th is the toughest 5-game stretch I’ve ever seen on a Penn State schedule. The new look Big Ten is going to give us so many big games every year and I cannot wait for it,” one Penn State fan said when looking at the schedule.

“James Franklin is going to EARNING his paycheck from October 5th to November 9th. Time to see what the staff is really made of,” added another.
Penn State will have to take advantage of its non-conference slate and lower-tier Big Ten foes like Illinois, Purdue, Minnesota and Maryland with a difficult middle part of the schedule.
