Bowl season is here, and that means it’s time for some of the fun off-field traditions that accompany each bowl game.
In the case of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, that means the annual pick from Yang Yang, the Giant Panda at Zoo Atlanta.
Yang Yang is 26 years old, and according to the video below, he’s 4-3 all-time picking games with three wins in a row.
This year, Yang Yang is rolling with the Big Ten over the SEC. He picked Penn State to beat Ole Miss.

The Nittany Lions and Rebels enter this year’s game with identical 10-2 records. They achieved them in similar fashion as well.
No. 10 Penn State handled all of its opponents except Ohio State and Michigan, the two best teams in the Big Ten, while 11th-ranked Ole Miss did the same in the SEC, where there only two losses were against Alabama and Georgia.
The two teams will put Yang Yang’s prognosticating skills to the test when they meet in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta on Dec. 30 at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN.
