Nolan Rucci, a former five-star offensive lineman for Wisconsin, announced this week that he’s entering the NCAA transfer portal. On Saturday, he revealed that he’ll remain in the Big Ten.
Rucci is taking his talents to Penn State for the 2024 season. He’ll now get to play close to his hometown of Lititz, Pennsylvania.
“#WeAre Home,” Rucci wrote on Twitter.
Rucci received an offer from Penn State when he was in high school. At that time, he was the No. 16 overall recruit in the 2021 class, per 247Sports’ rankings.

Rucci doesn’t have a ton of experience under his belt. He only played in five games while at Wisconsin.
When Rucci first arrived at Wisconsin, he was expected to be an offensive tackle. However, he was actually moved to the interior.
Perhaps the coaching staff at Penn State will find a way to get the best out of Rucci. There’s certainly untapped potential when it comes to this former five-star recruit.
