Penn State quarterback Drew Allar had, to put it politely, a rough day at the office this Saturday against Ohio State.
Allar completed just 18-of-43 pass attempts for 191 yards with a touchdown. Most of his production came on Penn State’s final drive of the game.
Following the Nittany Lions’ first loss of the season, Allar opened up about the offense’s lackluster performance. He stressed the importance of learning from Saturday’s miscues.
“It sucks to lose like this, especially on the road. … There’s a lot of emotions in the locker room, and for good reason. No one wants to feel this way. We put countless hours of hard work in,” Allar told reporters. “It sucks to have a result like this, but we have to watch it and learn from it, because if we don’t learn from it, we’re just fooling ourselves. We have to really be critical of this film, really learn from it and not let it happen again.”

Coming into this weekend, Allar was completing 65.2 percent of his pass attempts for 1,254 yards with 12 touchdowns.
Allar should have a bounce-back game next Saturday against Indiana.
