The 29-year-old G league veteran guard will be heading with the Sixers to training camp next month.
The Philadelphia 76ers’ 20-man roster for next month’s training camp in The Bahamas is now officially set, with Tuesday’s news that the team was signing Jared Brownridge to an Exhibit 10 deal.
The Philadelphia 76ers are signing Jared Brownridge to an Exhibit-10 contract, league sources told @hoopshype. Brownridge has spent the past seven seasons with the Delaware Blue Coats.

Brownridge is a bit different than your normal Exhibit 10 contract coming into camp. Unlike your typical undrafted rookie, he’s much more of a known quantity as a 29-year-old guard. As the above tweet from Scotto states, he has played the last seven seasons with the Delaware Blue Coats, even logging a couple games back when they were the 87ers. Shooting is definitely Brownridge’s calling card. Back in his four years at Santa Clara, he averaged 17.9 points, shooting 40.3 percent from three on 7.4 attempts per game, before going undrafted in the 2017 NBA draft. He has continued that precision at the G League level, shooting 39.3 percent from three on 7.7 attempts per game during his long-tenured Delaware regular season career.
As an undersized shooting guard at 6-foot-3, if we’re being realistic, it’s unlikely this is the year Brownridge breaks through to the NBA level. I imagine his elite shooting will help the Sixers see what the offense could look like with ideal spacing. Still, the Exhibit 10 bonus money is a nice boost for a guy extremely well-liked in Delaware circles and the franchise’s career points leader (and active leader in three pointers made for the entire G League). This story probably ends with Brownridge continuing to rack up threes and points for the Blue Coats in the fall, but hey, Philadelphia loves an underdog story.
