With media day upon us, the Sixers announce that they’ve signed forwards Isaiah Mobley and Jordan Tucker to an Exhibit 10 deals.
The Sixers on Monday announced that they signed forwards Isaiah Mobley and Jordan Tucker to Exhibit 10 deals.
Mobley, 25, was previously on a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is the older brother of Cavs big man Evan Mobley. The 6-foot-8, 235-pound wing spent just 10 games with Cleveland last season, playing the majority of his minutes with the Cleveland Charge of the G League.
Across 23 games with the Charge, Mobley averaged 17.1 points per game on 48.6/39.0/61.9 shooting splits. He stuffed the stat sheet with 8.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 30.8 minutes a contest.
Tucker, 26, has been a part of the Sixers’ summer league teams the last two seasons. Tucker possesses good size at 6-foot-7 and has a great shooting stroke from deep. He shot 56.3% from three during both leagues this past summer. The Butler product has yet to play an NBA game and has played just four G League games.
As a reminder, an Exhibit 10 deal is essentially a training camp invite with a financial incentive for the player to join the team’s G League affiliate. So expect Mobley and Tucker to be camp bodies before spending the season with the Delaware Blue Coats.
The Sixers also have Judah Mintz, Max Fiedler and Jared Brownridge signed to Exhibit 10 deals. Mints and Fiedler were both a part of the Sixers’ summer league teams in Salt Lake and Vegas. Brownridge is one of the more decorated players in Blue Coats history and one of the best three-point shooters in G League history.
Sixers media day is taking place Monday before the team heads to the Bahamas for camp. Their first preseason game will be Oct. 7 against the New Zealand Breakers of the NBL, who are participating in a tour of America and facing off against NBA teams.
