Klay Thompson seems set to become an unrestricted free agent in the coming days. Thompson and the Golden State Warriors haven’t made any progress on signing a new contract.
The Philadelphia 76ers, who could have over $60 million in cap space this summer, have interest in signing Thompson. The Denver Nuggets also have interest, if they lose free agent shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency. Pope opted out of his deal with Denver and will test the market this summer.
