After the New York Knicks eliminated the Philadelphia 76ers from the playoffs on Thursday night, a fight nearly occurred outside of the Wells Fargo Center.
At first, it seemed like a brawl would break out. Then, the two fans decided to settle business with an Oklahoma drill.
We’re not kidding.
“A Knicks and a Sixers fan were about to fight outside the arena until security broke it up,” Kyle Pagan of Crossing Board said. “They walked about 10 feet and agreed to settle it with an old fashioned Oklahoma drill in lieu of punches. It was an amazing sight.”
Luckily for fans who weren’t in attendance to witness this bout, footage of it surfaced on social media. It appears the fan wearing a Joel Embiid jersey was the winner.
“Solid pass set from Embiid jersey, got on his heels but recovered thanks to a solid punch,” one fan said. “Too much waist bend/lunging from Knicks shirt, lost all leverage and got buried as expected.”
Another fan tweeted, “I love this.”

At the end of the day, this was a harmless incident between these two fans.
Besides, at least someone wearing an Embiid jersey can say they won something this week.
