The NBA season is already in full swing, but the Delaware Blue Coats and the rest of the G League are just getting started.

Headlining the Coats’ roster are the Sixers’ three two-way players: Jeff Dowtin Jr., Justin Edwards and Lester Quinones. We’ve covered all three extensively on our site, and if you want to refresh your memory just click their names and it’ll take you to their player profiles.
Outside of those three names, there’s a good chance you won’t recognize many, if any. Below is the rest of the roster along with some general information to give you an idea of what you can expect when watching the Coats.
Jared Brownridge – SG
A seasoned Delaware Blue Coat entering his seventh season with the franchise. Brownridge is a specialized shooter, who is quite literally one of the best all-time in the G League — he ranks fourth all-time in made threes. A lengthy tenure is rare in the G League, and Brownridge will serve as a veteran that provides reliable floor spacing and shooting.
Patrick McCaw – SG/SF
McCaw, now 29 years old, is a three-time NBA champion — including a ring with Nick Nurse’s Raptors. Like Brownridge, McCaw has been with the Blue Coats for several seasons, even winning a G League title with them. He’ll provide the Coats with versatility, length and athleticism.
Marcus Bagley – SF
Marcus Bagley is the brother of former second overall pick Marvin Bagley, who now plays with the Washington Wizards. Marcus, 23, went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft after three seasons with Arizona State and has since been playing in Delaware. He didn’t see the court much last season, but there’s a good chance we’ll see his playing time increase this year. Unlike his brother (who plays like a big), Marcus plays much more like a traditional wing.
Aminu Mohammed – SG
Entering his third year in Delaware, Mohammed was one of several that helped the Blue Coats win a G League title in 2023. Mohammed is an international prospect, originally from Lagos, Nigeria. Shooting and overall game refinement is a work in progress, but he does possess physical and athletic skills to thrive as a two-guard.
Jarron Cumberland – SG
Cumberland has had several stints with the Blue Coats, and even signed with the Portland Trail Blazers in 2021-22. Reports from September suggest he’ll play overseas this season with Petro de Luanda of the Unitel Basket, so there’s a potential he won’t be a Blue Coat post-training camp.
Quinton Rose – SG/SF
Several readers will pick up on Rose’s name as he played four seasons with Temple from 2016-2020. Rose profiles as an athletic wing that’s capable of making plays, grabbing rebounds, and scoring around the rim. He has played with two other G League franchises, with his most recent being a stint with the Ostioneros de Guaymas in Mexico.
Stanley Davis – SG
Stanley “Bazz” Davis is a local product, born in Chester, PA. Davis played four years at Morgan State University, averaging 13.7 points and six rebounds during his senior year in 2019-20. Since then, Davis has had several overseas stints.
Vonterius Woolbright – PG/SG
Woolbright is technically the newest Delaware Blue Coat, as he was drafted 34th overall in the 2024 G League draft. Woolbright played three years with Western Carolina, averaging a staggering 21.1 points, 12 rebounds (not a typo) and 5.6 assists across 32 games. Shooting is a weak spot, as he averaged below 25 percent on limited attempts from range, but Woolbright has shown that he’s a capable rebounder and passer given his size.
Hasahn French – PF
French technically has some ties to Nick Nurse, as he joined the Raptors 905 in 2022-23 briefly. He ultimately didn’t make the final roster, however, opting to play overseas with the Newcastle Eagles of the British Basketball League. French is much more of a traditional power forward that thrives off of making energy plays and deflections.
Max Fiedler – C
Fiedler has been under the Sixers’ umbrella for several months now, playing in Summer League and signing an Exhibit 10 deal over the summer to keep him around the Blue Coats. Fielder spent five years at Rice University, averaging 9.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists in his final season. As a big, Fielder has good playmaking and passing ability that the Blue Coats could look to use in their offense.
Judah Mintz – PG/SG
Mintz, like Fiedler, was another Sixer featured in Summer League. Mintz played two seasons with Syracuse, averaging 18.8 points and 4.4 assists in his sophomore season. He is a capable and gifted scorer inside the arc, however he has struggled to shoot efficiently from range. Mintz showcased his offensive ability this summer, as he is capable generating points for himself and his teammates. He may earn a two-way spot eventually — especially if he can start hitting shots from range.
Isaiah Mobley – SF/PF
Maybe the Sixers/Blue Coats have a thing for NBA player siblings. Like Marcus Bagley, Isaiah Mobley’s brother, Evan, was also top-three draft pick. Isaiah Mobley was also drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2022. Mobley spent two seasons with the Cavs, splitting time between the NBA and G League. He had a dominant Summer League run in 2023, averaging 17.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks across six games — including a 28-point and 11-rebound outing in the championship game.
Jordan Tucker – SF
Tucker is a seasoned professional basketball player at age 26. He’s played with several G League teams and has played overseas since 2022. Now, he’ll join the Delaware Blue Coats and slot in as a lockdown defender that’s capable of hitting perimeter shots.
JZ Zaher – PG
Joey ‘JZ’ Zaher most recently played with Bowling Green. He didn’t play much at all for his two collegiate seasons, and the info on him is sparse to say the least. I did manage to come across his recruiting profile which has a strong, convincing personal statement on why college teams should take a chance on him.
The Delaware Blue Coats tip off their regular season November 9th at 6 PM EST against the Raptors 905.
