In some scary news out of the Association tonight, Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. is reportedly in the hospital after being struck a vehicle.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Oubre was a pedestrian in Center City, Philadelphia when he was hit and is receiving treatment at a local hospital. The former first-round pick is said to be in stable condition.
“Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. was a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle in Center City, Philadelphia tonight and is receiving treatment at a local hospital, a Sixers spokesman tells ESPN. Oubre Jr., is currently in stable condition,” Woj wrote.

Oubre signed with the Sixers this offseason after spending the last two years of his career with the Charlotte Hornets. Since being selected 15th overall back in 2015, the ex-Kansas star has steadily improved in each of his eight NBA seasons; averaging 20 PPG in 2022.
