Zach LaVine emerged in preliminary trade conversations between the Chicago Bulls and both the Philadelphia 76ers and Portland Trail Blazers, sources tell KC Johnson of NBC Sports.
LaVine re-signed with the Bulls last offseason on a five-year, $215 million maximum contract. LaVine represents Chicago’s best trade asset and a way of shaking up their roster.
Neither of those conversations gained traction, but it underscores how LaVine is widely considered unlikely to remain with the Bulls for the duration of his contract.
