(Though nothing is officially announced or revealed yet, these leaks seem pretty legitimate, so the rest of the article will be written with the assumption that these are real.)
Let’s look at the Philadelphia 76ers’ City Edition for the upcoming season.

If this season’s uniform for Philadelphia looks familiar, it’s because it is. The jersey is a rework of the team’s 2021-22 City Edition jersey that was designed to honor the Spectrum. The team’s name appears to be in the same font while the color motif down the sides and the red, white and blue trim also look like the earlier edition. The main difference is in the base color, switching out the navy blue of the previous version for a clean white this time around.
We actually had gotten an even earlier peek at these uniforms when Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament appeared in the jersey when the band played the Wells Fargo Center about a week ago. On Ament’s jersey, the player number appears in blue under the team’s name, another departure from the previous edition that had the numbers in the same red as the “Sixers” above it.
Yep, here we have it, folks. Jeff Ament from Pearl Jam rocked an authentic 2024/25 City Edition Tyrese Maxey jersey last night when they played Wells Fargo.

My completely personal opinion is that these are pretty good, especially when comparing to the other jerseys in this year’s leaked set. The design balances not doing too much with not doing too little—the latter being a big complaint of mine regarding a lot of the other teams’ designs. The Spectrum jersey was one of the best designs the team has put out in years, and I enjoy the tweaks they made to that design for this season, especially the shift to a white base color.
What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments! While you’re there, let us know what non-Sixers’ jersey in the bunch is your favorite from this set, just based on design alone.
I’d have to go with the Toronto Raptor’s one, myself.

Yes, that’s Vince Carter’s iconic between-the-legs dunk from the 2000 Slam Dunk Contest, in cartoon raptor form. That’s just fun!
